UPDATE ON IAN 🙏🏻 ♥️

BEST NEWS EVER!!!! 🎉 GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!

It’s been confirmed that Ian is CANCER FREE!!!! The surgery got it all and his bloodwork for the tumor markers came back ALL IN NORMAL RANGE!!!

He will continue to be monitored closely through bloodwork to make sure nothing elevates again.

From the bottom of our hearts, we THANK YOU for your prayers, checking in, your support and love these last 4 weeks. It has meant more than you know!

Our faith has grown stronger, our relationships have deepened immensely and our hearts are so full! 💗

What the last year has taught me…

✨ You should NEVER rent an all electric car!!! Especially in a city you’re not familiar with and with no training whatsoever! (And… watts matter!) 🤣

✨ Perimenopause transitioning to menopause is brutal. It’s a roller coaster that you can’t get off of so buckle up tight and embrace it. Give yourself grace. Not all roller coasters are fun and you only ride them once.

✨ You can’t assume others know your intent and motives even when they are from the best place. Sometimes you have to spell it out to avoid misunderstanding.

✨ You CAN memorize scripture and it DOES take root deeply.

✨ People are always watching you. Even when you don’t know it. Their lens may be from a positive one or from a negative one. Whichever lens they are using will dictate how they perceive you. It’s okay to let them. You’ll never make everyone happy because it’s less about you and more about them.

✨You matter. Your life has a ripple effect on people around you. Walk in a manner in which you’ve been called and you will see God work in other’s lives through your own.

✨ Not everyone gets a place at the table. Reserve it for those who love you fiercely. Love everyone but boundaries are good.

✨ Emotional health is crucial and feelings need to be felt or they come out sideways and do more harm.

✨ Stand up for yourself. You don’t have to be mean or defensive about it.

✨ Not everything you think needs to be spoken. Especially in the midst of hurt feelings. Sometimes it’s better to just be quiet.

✨ Be intentional with relationships. Make sure they know you love and cherish them.

✨God is good all of the time, even when things around you feel like the twilight zone.

✨When God is pruning you, don’t fight it. It will sting in the moment but He’s doing it for better fruit. He’s doing it to keep you spiritually healthy. Allow Him the areas He needs because He knows what’s coming, you do not.

✨ Follow God’s prompts. Just do it. God always shows up!

✨ Change is necessary to grow.

✨ Prayer is important and is a MUST daily.

He’s such a ham! 😂 He naps a lot more now but still Mr. Sassy pants! Love this little old dude!

12 years ago today was the craziest day of my life… My sweet friend Haley passed away in the morning and I welcomed my first grandchild that evening. ♥️

Haley has left such a big imprint on so many lives and I’m grateful that I was able to know her how I did and cherish our time. Although she was only 22, she taught me so much about life, love and legacy. With brave wings she flies 🪽 I miss her immensely. Jeremiah 29:11 will always remind me of her and her story.

My handsome grandson, Daniel made me a Nani and I’m so proud of him and the young man he’s becoming.

Looking back and seeing God’s hand guiding my life and the twists and turns He’a led me through never ceases to amaze me just how amazing He is.

Tonight we said goodbye to our sweet Foxy Mama. 💔

So many beautiful memories made with her over the past 9 1/2 years… and so hard to say goodbye.

Thank you, Foxy… You were one of the sweetest, calmest, people loving and smiley dog I’ve ever known and you will be extremely missed. 😢

Happiest of Happy Birthdays to my beautiful daughter, Brooke today!!!! 🥳 ♥️

It’s hard to believe that on this day, 2️⃣6️⃣ years ago, I was welcoming this incredible human into the world.

Brookie, you are so special and I’m grateful to be your mama. The bond we have built over the years is so special and I’m so proud of you, the woman you have been and the woman you’re becoming. You are a beautiful soul and I love you so much!

Thank you to all who have been by my side these last 16 years. I’m the woman I am because of you. I’m so grateful for what I’ve been through but more grateful for where God is leading me.

Life has been going on warp speed and I can’t believe she’s 30 years old. Watching her grow into the woman she is has had so many turns and curves but she is still one of the kindest, caring women I know. ❤️

💗 She has a heart for people who are pushed away.

Had to say goodbye to our sweet Kia Bia today. 💔

She was an amazing addition to our family for the few years we had her and will be greatly missed!

Rough day as we process it all but so grateful to have been a part of her journey!
